Right now I have using a tv as my PC monitor. It's time for an upgrade. I have a budget of $250.
I only need 1080p. I just want suggestions on a good quality low response time monitor. THANKS

Which one would you recommend? The asus vg248qe or the IPS mx 27 inch monitor?

it comes down to personal preference and do you have the hardware to run a 144hz display? I mean theirs no point in getting 144hz if you're not going to use it, and really 5ms delay is negligible for me, personally i say 27 inch i like my games to look pretty especially that ips, currently running a 46 inch Sony bravia with 60hz refresh and i don't mind. That said if you got the tech to push the 144hz referesh by all means go for that.
