Quick Question Regarding DX12

I just upgraded from windows 8.1 pro to windows 10 pro. I was looking around to see if everything is ok and the first thing i looked at was my direct x version. I used the dxdiag tool to see what version i have. It shows i have dx 11.2 instead of dx12. Is it supposed to be like this right now or did something go wrong with the update?

You are fine. Make sure you update your drivers.

ok thanks im gonna try that now. I thought i already downloaded it yesterday when it said something about windows 10 but there apparently is another one to download. Sorry about having to ask about this im still learning about how to do all this stuff with computers.

No game supports DX12 yet. Also it's built into Windows 10 and will not be in 8 or 7.
