Acer GN246HLB 144hz only displaying 120hz?

Hey everyone,

I recently bought this monitor, but it cannot display the 144hz like it says on the box. It only displays 120hz.

Even on my nVidia control panel, it says it is displaying 60hz?

I am super confused, but I found out that the HDMI input is 60hz but the output is 120hz.

So, is my monitor only displaying 60hz or 120hz? And why wont it display 144hz?

You need to use the dual link DVI cable to get 120 and 144hz.
