Is it possible to upgrade my Win 8.1 Pro to Win 10 Pro when it is currently Dual booted with Win 7? I am too afraid to hit the go button on the Media creation tool. I accidentally posted this same question in systems earlier sorry.

Solution
Hello JeremeyB

Even in a dual-boot environment, both operating systems work individually and never interfere with each other as long as they are installed on separate volumes (partitions).

If you upgrade your Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, Windows 7 would remain intact.

Hope this helps. :)

Good Luck!!

I agree with vive, the partitions are separate and don't get affected by each-other.
I had a windows 7 and 8.1 dual boot, and upgraded my windows 7 to windows 10, while keeping 8.1.
When PC turned on, gave me option to boot from windows 8.1 or windows 10. However I would recommend the upgrade via "keep files" method, not "delete everything", as it might wipe the whole HDD if both OSes on 1 HDD.
