Windows 10 showing only 3.9gb usable while i have 8gig of ram

Hey guys plz help Windows 10 is showing only 3.9gb usable while i have 8gig of ram installed on my system.

Does it say you have 8gb with only 3.9 usable or is it only reading 3.9gb total? Is you operating system 64bit?

yes it is windows 10 pro 64-bit it says 8gb(3.9gb usable)

Well it could be a few different things try to follow this guide, let me know if you have trouble with any of the steps especially updating the bios you can brick your motherboard if you do it incorrectly.

i've been reading that win10 is giving people a few different typs of memory issues like this. either wait for microsoft to patch, try a clean install, or go back to 7/8.1. personally not upgrading because of the frequency of these memory issue posts
