Hey guys!
After buying my new PC with capabilities of connecting to 4 monitors at once (Display Port, HDMI & 2X DVI-D)
Since I have two spare monitors that are VGA only, I was planning to get a DVI to VGA adapter, now my understanding is that DVI-I is for analog connection and DVI-D is for digital connection. My graphics card has only DVI-D connection.
My question is, is it actually possible to connect DVI-D to VGA? Looking online, the nearest answer I get is no, but looking on eBay, I can clearly see DVI-D to VGA adapters for sale.
Would these work legitly or is there something I am clearly missing? Caused much confusion for me. Any help would be appricated!
Thanks, Ryan.
