COMPUTER FREEZES IN GAMES AFTER DOWNLOADING WINDOWS 10 please help!

Ok, a few days ago I tried windows 10, biggest mistake... my disk ran on a constant 96% and my cpu was ridiculously high. I went back to windows 8.1. Anyways.. in my games randomly it will freeze for a few seconds.. im not very techno so.. PLEAS HELP!!!!! I do have a backup if that helps... should I do a factory reset..?

To get your Windows 8.1 back to normal, you can try restoring it to an earlier restore point. However, you must ensure that you restore the operating system to the point before you upgraded to Windows 10.

If that doesn't help, you can refresh your Windows 8.1 back to factory defaults by following the instructions in this tutorial.
