Can i dual boot windows 8.1 and 10?

By that i mean if i can do it on the same license (not buying windows 10 because i own 8.1 and i reserved windows 10). Also i upgraded my laptop from 8.1 to 10 and it got the "dpc watchdog violation" error and windows support said i should roll back to 8.1 and install all drivers and then upgrade. And i have installed all drivers and i just want windows 10 next to windows 8.1 so i can switch back if neccessary.
