I need it shipped to Europe.

I will mostly be playing games and watching movies.

I'm looking for a 27" monitor, preferably an IPS panel, probably 60Hz or 70Hz refresh rate.

I'm looking to spend under $200 (a little more is fine).

I'm only buying one monitor.

I want to connect it to DVI-D dual link or HDMI.

I've kept my eye on Acer G277HL- 27", but it says here under the power sub category it requires 50/60Hz and i have no idea what that means. Can anyone explain it to me?

Thank you in advance!

You can ignore the 50/60Hz "required" thing. Basically this screen has a frequency that can be adjusted to 50hz or 60hz. If you're picky.

I don't know where you plan on shopping for your 27" Monitor, but I'd buy from LG, ASUS, Dell, HP, or any of the major manufacturers. I would avoid Acer and other lesser knowns, because of low QC. I'd rather spend the extra 10-15% more on a monitor to have a high quality build, with such things as a sturdy stand, hard scratch resistant material, friendly menu UI. But that's just me.

It all depends on what you can find in your area, for the price. I like Newegg, (Sometimes Amazon) and always use coupons when I shop. I got a 27" HP 27xi for $199 (Originally $399) back in Feb 2014, it was on sale, and had a mail-in rebate. So look around for deals and compare with other stores.
