I am a computer hardware novice and googling hasn't helped me. I will be playing Games such as World of Warcraft, Fallout New Vegas, etc. and my screen will randomly go full red (like blue screen of death, only blue) and make a buzzing noise. Only turning off the power fixes it. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but my computer will also just randomly turn off out of nowhere with no warning. It's not updating or installing anything at this time so it confuses me. Is my power supply too small? Is something wrong with my graphics card? Is my computer just running too hot? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue with my HD 5770 for ATI. It got better when testing different driver settings.
Uninstalled all drivers I had (adding a sanity check on not mixing other drivers up).

Driver crashed a lot less (once a week maybe) and without needing to restart the PC.

Hope this helps.
