Hey guys quick question:

I have to replace my psu and due to limitations (budget and my country's ban on imports) it boils down to those two models. My question is wich one would be the most reliable. I dont plan on overclocking or having multiple GPUs.

Corsair CX 600m is $2100 = U$D 140

nzxt hale82 v2 full modular 700w is: $1700 = U$D 113

This is my current build :

AMD Phenom II X4 965

Mother Gygabyte 970 AM3+

XFX ATI Radeon hd 5770 1GB GDDR5

4GB Kingston RAM 1333mhz

WD blue 1tb

I plan on replacing the CPU , RAM and Graphics card as soon as i decide on my new PSU

the idea is to get a FX 8350 / 8gb Corsair vengeance 1600mhz and probably an ATI R9 280

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

Hi - Between those two units there isn't much of a quality difference, so I'd be inclined to save the
difference in price and got with the NZXT unit. You get an xtra 6.5 +12v amps as well whcih be
useful down the road.

What country are you in? I might be able to find other alternatives for you to consider.

Hi, thanks for the answer. I am in Argentina and as I said the country is currently banning most imports so everything we get is either overpriced or understocked. Anyways I much appreciate any advice you can give.

Hi again - Either of these are a better choice (if still in stock) than the two you listed:

http://www.bigpoint.com.ar/fuentes/620w-fuente-seasonic-m12ii-modular-bronze - a much better quality
unit than the CX or Hale82 v2 and less expensive than the CX (I think it's in stock here)
http://wancomputers.com.ar/fuentes/930-seasonic-m12ii-650w.html

less power, but enough for a sys with an R9 280

Thanks a lot, that seasonic looks great, I will check if it is in stock as soon as possible.

one additional question, those two shops on the links are from a other states, which means that with shipping included, it will probably be a bit more than the Corsair GPU, if that´s the case is the seasonic still the best option? I dont mind paying a bit more for a quality product.

Once again thanks a lot.

Sorry I just re read your last reply. So the seasonic is the best option then, I will go for it.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, the Seasonic M12ii is much better quality than a Corsair CX. Hope it's in stock and
fits in your budget.
