Fullscreen games lag

Hey guys, I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, and I'm quite having my issues when it comes to playing my games. I have NBA 2K14 installed and whenever I run the game in fullscreen mode, there is an fps drop and whenever I use windowed mode, it just turns out fine.

Can anyone please help me with this? I have also installed the driver updates from NVIDIA's website. My video card is a GeForce GT 610 as of this moment but I'll be changing it to a GT 730 soon btw.

Any help will be appreciated because I don't wanna play games in windowed mode. Thank you!

To start with, you have an extremely low end card, so it's not surprising you have problems in full screen mode, especially if you're using the default settings or have set things higher than they should be. Driving more pixels in full screen mode requires substantially more GPU power than in windowed mode and it may simply be more than your card is capable of without a drop in frame rates.

It could also be driver related. I'd suggest doing this:
