vertical yellow line

Where did this vertical yellow line on my monitor come from? How do I get rid of it? Is it somehow connected to internet? It coincided with install of Windows 10 which was so much like a virus I restored previous version I was working with.

So much like a virus.... Not even sure I can take this thread seriously now....

What? It's hard to remove, it spies on you and reports data home, you can't stop it from downloading more software, and it breaks PCs when it starts running. Sounds like a virus to me!

I wonder what graphic card their using?

The only suggestion I can make is to reinstall the graphic drivers using DDU then the latest official driver from the device manufacture. If it doesn't go away then try the screen on a different system to see if it is the screen or the part.

I highly doubt Windows 10 caused the yellow line. It is probably a coincidence and you might have a bad part on your hand.

It was here a moment ago and now it's gone...very strange. Could it be in the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 driving the monitor?..thank you all for the feedback.
