1080p G-Sync monitors worth it?

Got a GTX 980 build. Looking for a 24 inch 1080p monitor. was wondering if the 144hz G-sync monitors are worth it at the moment. I already have a monitor so it is not urgent. would I be better to get just the 144hz? kinda unsure what to do?

Well, Gsync removes tearing. 144Hz increases the refresh rate over standard 60Hz Screens. They are separate and unlinked features. If you want to have high refresh rates AND no tearing, get both. If you need only one of the features, pick one.
