G'day All,
Got caught by this sneaky Windows 10 downloading to my laptop. This download created a new partition on my harddrive as a protected system drive. I have tried to take ownership of this new partition with no success, I have tried to restore to a previous date with no success - it fails. Does anyone out there have any clue as to how I can remove this partition from my hdd?

Regards,
Mark

Right-click your start menu and select Disk Management. The partition should should show up. Once you are sure this is the correct partition, select it and press Delete Volume. Does that work?

If that doesn't work, Lenovo has some instructions on how to remove partitions from the command prompt. Right-click your start menu, select Command Prompt (Admin) and then follow the instructions here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht076093?tabName=Solutions
