I updated my bios as instructed by my computer. My battery started charging again.

You have to make sure you get the right update for your computer model. I recently updated and now I can charge my battery again. It had stopped charging.

you dont have to update your BIOS if your computer are not running in problem
you may have to restore your BIOS to previous version
