I recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and after a while I couldn't open any of my programs unless I manually restarted my computer. After some research the conclusion was that it was malware, but after a full virus scan with kaspersky no virus was detected. The problem persists each day I boot up my computer and hard resting it everyday is getting pretty annoying. Does anybody else have a similar problem or a fix for the problem?

Windows is installed on an ssd hard drive that has plenty of space left.

Hello,

Were you able to previously identify the name of the malware? They may be a tool available on the net to remove such malware on your PC if Kaspersky is unable to detect the malware.

Other possible solutions for the mean time would be;

- You may try to perform a full windows update.
- Use a genuine Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware/Anti-Malware. You may try this trial version of an anti-malware tool called Malwarebytes via https://www.malwarebytes.org/lp/sem/5/b/?&gclid=CLmRwLiL0McCFYQpjgodHXcCvQ

Please let me know if you were able to identify the name of your malware.
