I'm in the market for a new display to game on (games like The Forest and FarCry4) and am finding that looking for a new monitor is becoming a pain and i'm in a bit of a predicament.
- I'm very much attracted to the idea of having an IPS panel due to the supposed superior colour reproduction that an IPS panel brings and how this will go well with the open world games that i like to play.
- I don't really want to go bigger than 24" on 1080p due to grainy images.
- I could go 1440p but a decent one is expensive and would probably mean getting something like a GTX980Ti to power it which i don't want to do (am going to buy a used GTX980 G1).
- I also want a 120hz panel for a smooth experience.
- I also want a fast response time (5ms or below).
So, do 1080p IPS gaming orientated panels exist that have a high refresh rate? An internet search shows very little. Any other suggestions appreciated.
