Buying new gaming monitor

Hi, the next month i'll finish my new PC gaming, so i was looking for a new monitor, i found many but i found a one that looks really good, but i was wondering if it was worth the price :

- 'Acer Predator GN246HLB' - 1080p 144Hz 1ms

I'm going to play games like The Witcher 3, Dragon Age : Inquisition, GTA 5, LoL...
What do you think guys it is worth ? or 144Hz and 1ms is not needed for the games that i wanna play.

unless you're a very serious gamer the 144Hz 1ms is overkill(you also need a GPU powerfull enough to get frames like that)


I myself play on a standard ips monitor 5ms 60Hz.
