I have a Lenovo laptop with windows 8.1 pro. I upgraded to windows 10 pro. After a successful install I checked the desktop, All is fine. Then I rebooted the laptop and received a critical process died error (Blue screen) It occurs after I enter my user name and password. Then it crashes.

i have been able to go back to windows 8.1 and removed any 'questionable" software. i then re-installed windows 10 pro (Same error) This has happened 4 times. The laptop always crashes when signing onto windows 10.

Has any experienced this issue?
If so how did you resolve i?

Thank you

Solution
You may be having trouble with incompatible drivers being carried over from Windows 8.1. Try installing the latest Windows 10-compatible drivers in safe mode after upgrading, OR installing them onto Windows 8.1 before upgrading.
