I'm starting online college soon to get my Bachelor's in IT (I'll make sure it's an accredited program). I'm fresh out of highschool so I have no idea about internships or anything like that. And as far as jobs, I worked for a few years with a HVAC contractor so I do have at keast one job on my resume, even if it isn't relevant. But if I can't get an internship, I'm not sure what businesses to apply to. I know I'll most likely be doing a desk support or NOC job for a while and that's fine but what places that offer those positions are good for early work?
I currently live in a small town but I'm planning to move to Knoxville, TN since I'm nearby and there are more job opportunities there. Is there anything else I should know at this point? I'd appreciate any help/advice people want to give.
