How to know if my SSD being used optimally and checking for issues.

I have my rig running off of a Kingston SSDNow 120GB SSD along with just an average 1TB HDD (Unsure of brand or speeds). and feel like my boot and loading times are rather slow. I'm just curious if there's a program or method to see if my SSD is running optimally or if its having any issues.

you can use Crystal Disk Mark and test your SSD speeds
