What will happen after Winows 10's one year of free use expires ?

Hi.

I currently own a Windows 7 and i'm still thinking if i should upgrade to Windows 10 or not.

My question is what will happen after the free trial expires ? Will i be able to get back to my windows 7 or is there no way ? I know that it is possible to return until a month but what about after a year ?

I'm just afraid that i might be left out with nothing and that i must buy a new Windows.

It is a free upgrade not a free trial. it will stay.

After a year, you can no longer upgrade for free. If you have already upgraded, you're fine - nothing changes.

No worries, it will stay.

So you can upgrade and test.
But if you want to go back to old system you need to decide if you want to keep it within the 30 days period.

Afterwards you cannot go back anymore.
