Hi Folks,

Here I am back seeking suggestions for my another upcoming Gaming Build, Below is the setup I've selected so far but before I execute this plan I wanted to seek advise from you guys that if I can get a better setup at a lower cost if I go for an AMD processor with an Nvidia GPU or an AMD processor and AMD GPU.

MSI Z97 GAMING 5
Intel® CoreTM i5-4690K 3.5 GHz Unlocked"
Corsair Vengeance 2 X 8GB DDR3 (CMZ8GX3M1A1866C10)
MSI GTX 970 4GB DDR5 OC Edition
Cooler Master GX 750W PSU (Already Owned)
DEEPCOOL KENDOMEN TI MID TOWER COMPUTER CASE (BLACK)
Already have HDDs and other basic stuff

My Activities will involve, High end gaming preferably at 1980x1020 FULL HD resolution using the HDMI as usual and watching Full HD movies, but I would be buying a 4k display at mid of next year for which I expect this setup to give me a reasonable performance "if not the Best".

Regards

cant say , like everyone you choose the parts you feel meets your needs and price then slap it together , fire it up , ajust it out and see if it works as you expect it to or it don't ??

build you listed above don't look bad ? seems like it should do fine ??

It really doesn't matter what brand the part belongs to. You really want the best performance. I would consider taking a look at i5 6600k and z170 chipset and will perform better. Otherwise, great build for gaming in max settings 2080p.

I am going with the above setup, just a quick ques, there won't be any bottlenecks or any other issues for e.g. Power issues with the above mentioned PSU if I throw a 980 or 980Ti instead?

look over the psu reviews like from here - that one did look to do so well ??

to me the psu is the builds life blood so I don't tend to cheap out on them I do feel and 750/850w is best to go with [opinion]

this coolermaster did a better job [Seasonic KM3 based unit] I'd go for that myself
