Hey there. I just got my hands on a new UX305 from ASUS and it's working wonderfully. However, I wanted to change the icons for the Desktop, Downloads, Music, etc. folders in Quick access in File Explorer. I was able to do it on my main rig, but there is no customize tab for most of the folders in quick access, and those that do still don't allow me to change the icon. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Hello,

The Customize tab is not available for special folders where Windows has already set their default appearances. But, you may be able to customize the folder picture for the Thumbnails view of some special folders by using the steps in the manually create a folder picture section of this article.

This was previously escalated in an old thread, this may apply in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

In some cases, if you cannot find Customize tab in your folder’s Properties, the most probability is that that you are in “Documents Library” view, rather than the actual “Folder Location” view.
- Try to right-click your folder...

- Try to right-click your folder and click Open folder location.
- Now,you are in the actual “Folder Location”,right click this folder again and select Properties, you will see Customize tab there.
