help with install of windows 10 from windows 8.1

id like to know if there is a way to do a clean instal of just windows 10 but heres the thing
I have windows 8.1 and want to do a clean instal, I don't really want to instal windows 8.1 just to install windows 10 via a free 1year license 8.1 comes with.

is there any way I can just install windows 10 without having to instal windows 8.1

To obtain the free Windows 10 upgrade license you must upgrade an already activated copy of Windows 8.1. Part of activating the Windows 10 upgrade license includes storing a fingerprint, of sorts, of the hardware in your machine. Once you have performed the one time upgrade installation, you may then perform a clean installation of Windows 10 and it will be able to activate based on the previously stored activation information that was obtained from the activation of the upgrade installation.

You need the 8.1 install , so that it sees you have a valid key for theupgrade.
