Has HP installed the CPU Fan incorrectly on my Machine?

Hi all,

I bought a pre-made machine from PC World ( Yeah, I know ), HP Envy Machine, i7 4770 and I was cleaning it out this weekend and saw the CPU and thought, "That doesn't look right"

Have they used a fan that is too big for the CPU? If I still use this machine will it eventually fail due to this? Should I take it back and ask for them to change it to a normal fan that would fit?
