I would like a good monitor for video editing mostly gameplay and maybe vlog's the build will include the newish i7 6700k and the msi 980TI also 16 gb (4x4) kit of corsair vengeance lpx memory and an asus rog swift g-sync gaming monitor, the total cost of my whole new setup is about $3,500 I would like to stay under $4,000 ( sorry for updating the thread so much)

Would you mind linking your channel (PM works too). I want to get a better idea of what type of projects you work on. Games will already be color accurate, even though your monitor might not be. However, with vlogs, if you dont pay attention to white balance and the histogram, you may want a color accurate monitor. The monitor you are interested in uses a TN panel. It's not color accurate and when compared to an IPS or higher, it'll look bad with washed out colors, because it's a limitation of the TN technology. Are you planning to buy more than one monitor?
