The topic:
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2666362/gtx-980-triple-screen.html#16600919

We ask for TRIPLE SCREEN benchmarks.
They all post SINGLE SCREEN benchmarks in the replys.

And user ErVivek selects it as best awnser.

I want it unselected ASAP.
The whole linked topic does not contain a single triple screen test at all.

He does not read the topic, but hes just selecting "good" awnsers that arent good at all.

More topics of misleading "best selected awnsers" by user ErVivek:

For not misleading the users with the solution selected by ErVivek:
"the BIOS may need to be updated but it should at least allow the CPU to work to some degree."
is not true.

This is not correct answer, because OP has DT not MT version. Best Solution is selected by ErVivek, which is, as I been told in the past, is some kind of automated system designed to find solutions, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

SO ITS A BOT????
KILL THE DAMN THING!

This makes no sense.

ErVivek is one of a few community staff members tasked with selecting Best Answers in old threads. Note that these are 'Best Answers', not necessarily the correct answers. These staff members process threads that are 3 or more months old, selecting what they deem to be a best answer available. They do their best, but they do not have universal technical knowledge. It is a flawed system, yes, but it has yielded good results thus far. However, given the sheer volume of threads they process (upwards of 25,000+ per month), mistakes will be made. When a mistake is made, simply report it to a moderator and it will be fixed.

ErVivek, ErAnkurPaul, and viveknayarr007 make up our Best Answer selection team. They are not...
It's be open since June. You couldn't google 5760x1080 980ti benchmarks? And in a way, it was a good solution. 4k is 4x1080 screens. You want to now 3x1080 benchmarks, so, take the 4k results and add about 25% give or take. If it can run a game at 4k at 60fps, then it will have no problem at only 3 screens and probably get 70+ fps.

ErVivek is not a bot account - it's an actual user that has been contracted by the site administers for the sole purpose of selecting best answers in threads that have not been selected. If you believe that a BA has been selected in error, it would be best to contact one of the moderator team first, or contact the site administrator - JPishgar, or Titillating, who is also an employee of Tom's Hardware's parent company Purch Media.

For what it's worth, the BA in that third link you provided was selected by the OP himself, and not ErVivek.

Be my guest and try and find triple screen GTX980ti benchmark. Go ahead if youre so sure about it. Why do you think there are more topics asking this?

And NO 4K cant compare to triple screen. Why? Just because 4K enlarges resolution for the same angle of view.
It doesnt need to calculate more world.
Triple screen does need to calculate more world because the angle is wider.
Because of this scores vary a lot.
I have triple screen and tested many games. Believe me triple asks more performance then when you compare it to a single screen with same pixelcount.

Probably???
Ill bet triple screen HD has lower score then your 4K single screen on your system.
Believe me im talking from experience...

Lol, well ok so hes alive...
Ty for unselecting, its really hard to find triple screen + gtx980Ti benchmarks.
But people think its not...
Or they dont read well enough...
Thinking 4K could be scaled against triple screen, so you just add 25%... But this wont work....

while i can certainly understand your frustration, you may want to consider watching your tone and not taking your frustration out on others as this is not what we are all about here. attacking the system or people does nothing to solve the problem.

yes, 5760x1080 benchmarks are much harder to find than 4k, 2k and 1080p benchmarks. given how rare they are you are pretty much forced to estimate performance based on benchmarks you can actually find. while not entirely accurate, its a rough idea. remember for things like benchmarks the people providing you links to benchmarks likely googled them as well at some point in time - if you cannot find them, chances are other people are going to have trouble finding it as well.

there are however a few out there - though of course not for every game - its slim pickings. take a look at http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_980_SLI/1.html while not the 980ti you have the 980 listed which you can infer 980ti performance from. not ideal, but better than nothing.

Interesting, in just about everyone of those benchmarks, if you take the FPS of the 980 or 980SLI at 5760 and divide it by the FPS for 4K, you get about 20-30%, depending on game, which on average, is about what, 25%?..........
