How to get a job 'tech reviewing'? Do it for free for 5-10 years, and build up a following and reputation.

Either getting a job for a custom boutique PC maker. Starting your own business doing this. Starting doing unpaid reviews of things you buy and building up a base big enough you get recognized and then paid for it.

Freelance writing for a tech review site. All of those require significant presence already though.
