How to matte a glossy monitor panel

So I'm looking to buy a 1440p 144hz, IPS and g-sync display and the only one in the market is the Acer for 750-800 dollars (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UPVXDA8/?tag=pcpapi-20). I believe this is one of the best displays for gaming ever, but I hate how the looks of it with that matte panel. Is there any way to matte the panel? Maybe a tape, or spray (although I'm not a fan of this last one since the panel might get damage).

Also are there any monitors with this expects coming out shortly, like before Thanksgiving or Christmas?

Well you are right on that one, I forgot that one was coming out. The only thing is when is it coming out and for how much? I'm trying to stick with 800 limit, although if this bad boy is for 1k I might try and do the effort.

the release dat for the X34 is 13/9/2015 or later , but this month for sure they say.
