First of all, thanks for taking the time to help me, so my birthday is coming up and I am really into competative gaming such as CS:GO and was wanting a monitor with a higher refresh rate (144hz) and a 1920x1080 resolution. I was hoping to keep a relatively low budget and PREFERABLY with speakers built in. I have picked out two already and I don't understand as as far as I can tell the cheaper option is actually better suited for me, if someone could please help it would be great appreciated. Thanks a lot :)

Ok, first, happy birthday! :)

Between the 2 Benq options you initially picked, I'd go with the XL2411Z. I think that RL2455HM is only 60Hz?

However, the XL2411Z does not have speakers (which you mentioned that you prefer). So, here's my recommendation:

AOC G2460PQU 144Hz 24.0" Monitor

The price is £1+ cheaper than the Benq XL2411Z, you got the same specifications (24", 1080p, 144Hz, 350cd/m2, 1ms, etc.), but you got the speakers, a better stand-mount (because I think that Benq stand will accumulate dust due to it's depressed design), and a nicely-balanced rectangular screen (I'm iffy about the off-set design of that Benq, makes me want to tilt my head to balance my viewing).

Thanks a lot for your help, I spent some time reading up on comparisons and the Tom's Hardware reviews online and the monitor that you suggested seems by the far the obviously choice- a conclusion I would not have reached alone. So again thanks a lot for being so friendly and helpful :D
