My PSU doesnt have enough connections for my Graphics Card

My PSU only has 1 x 6+2 pin connector but my graphics card has 2 x 6 pin slots. Do they both have to be used? If so, is there any adapter I can get so that I dont have to get a new PSU?

If the PSU has sufficient power (watts) for the graphics card, then use a splitter.

Thanks. I realised a while ago that the graphics card actually came with a splitter. Thanks for the help
