to admins - why i opted out of the top ads

near the top, there's an ad, and at the bottom right of that ad is an X. clicking that X pops up a window which gives me two options, one of which is to opt out of these ads for a month because i don't care about this site.

i opted out. not because i don't care, but because they're ANNOYING in how they show. first, the page loads with all the content that i can click on. and just as i'm about to click on a link, the banner ad get injected and EVERYTHING SHIFTS DOWN!!!

THAT, dear site admins. is annoying. not the ad itself, but rather how it is inserted after the rest of the page has finished loading, and causes me to go to a link (thread, subforum, etc) that i did NOT want to go to.

I read once that roughly 50% of internet ads are clicked on accidentally. I found that interesting/funny

I use Adblock PLUS and Ghostery and see no ads with Firefox.

on Chrome, ABP doesn't remove it, despite trying to block that element several times. see below:

Yeah , I use Ghostery with Adblock specifically for those type.

Update and select block all.
