Fix to TP Link WDN4800 Windows 10 compatibility?

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7, and my Wifi card worked grat, 40+ Mps. OnceI upgraded to Windows 10 I realized I had to upgrade my drivers cause the old ones would crash my PC. Soon to realize that they only have Windows 8.1 drivers which do work but i get a mere 3 Mps! If anyone has any solutions please tell me!!

I would try power cycling your modem and router, and also go into device manager, right click on your network adapter and select, uninstall. Make sure the "remove device driver" option is selected and click ok. Then go to the file menu at the top of device manager and select "scan for hardware changes" from the Action category. If necessary, if the drivers are not reinstalled automatically, you might need to reinstall the more recent drivers.

I'd also make sure via the network adapter utility that you are connecting on the correct channel and band.

Download and manually install the Atheros AR938 driver for win10. Currently the latest driver is 10.0.0.326 on 9/6/2015. The wireless chip inside the TP-Link is manufacured by Atheros, which is why this works. It's documented as a fix in the TP-Link forum. It has worked well for me.

So what do I do if i downloaded and installed this driver and it still wont connect?
