Recently I've been thinking of updating to a nvidia card because I've read everywhere go with Nvidia etc. and how they use less power and also stay cooler. I originally was gonna go with nvidia but at the time thought I didn't wanna spend that much money on a card etc. The one I'm looking at is a GTX 970. Currently I run a power color Devil R9 270X and was curious if would be a better idea to instead purchase another AMD card and run them as dual (forget what AMD calls it..crossfire?) instead of purchasing a single nvidia card. Any thoughts? I don't wanna spend a lot...one I'm looking at for Nvidia is $349 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487090

Crossfire requires more power, adds to overall heat, and does not always scale well. I'd get the 970 to avoid any issues dslatsh... Single card = Less problems
