Good deal on GTX 970?

I bought an ASUS Strixx GTX 970 on eBay for $289.99. Claims to have used for only 20 hours, which doesn't really matter to me as long as it is functioning. Seem like a good deal or should I have held out for prices to fall even more? I had a R9 280x which I'm selling to a friend for $90, so I'm happy to upgrade.

That seems like a good deal, if the thing works. The average price for a decent GTX 970 would be about $320-$400 so I would say yes, that's a good deal.

Check on HardWareSwap and the classifieds. CHances are, you can get GPUs, more prevalent 970s, for 270 new
