Hey there. I'm currently doing a Coding and Software Development course and I was interested in getting a laptop solely for my work. I'll be using programs such as Python, Textpad, Notepad++, Visual Basic and Microsoft Access.

Just wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction of a laptop that would suit my needs.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Edit: Should note that I'd also be willing to purchase A-Grade refurbished laptops/notebooks.

I love the thinkpad units for their superior keyboard.
Look for an older model with windows 7.
Many corporate units are showing up on ebay.
My plan would be to add ram if necessary and replace the hard drive with a ssd.
The SSD makes all the difference in the world for performance.
Even an old/slow cpu will feel quick.
