Hello,

I am building a new PC to replace my old one, and I need someone's advice. I'm going to order PC components from online store in Germany, called ComputerUniverse.
The money I am planning to spend is around 850 €.

But here is the problem - I have dilemma between the processor and the graphics card.
It must be Intel and NVIDIA, but I'm sure sure about buying stronger processor and weaker graphics card or vice versa.

I will use PC for everyday work, but I want to make sure that applications like Adobe's Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Ilustrator and Autodesk's software 3ds Max run fast and smooth on this configuration. Also, I want other demanding sofware to run quick and without problems - like Android Studio, VMware Workstation or VirutalBox and other popular demanding applications.

On the other hand, I am not a real gamer, but I like to sometimes play games like FIFA, and a few 'blockbuster' games like GTA 5 etc.

So, dilemma is which processor should I go for, Intel i5 or i7 processor? And for the graphics card, would GTX 960 be enoug, or should I get weaker proc and GTX 970? Or maybe something different?

Hi,
thank you for your reply.

It will be an entire new PC, built from scratch. For now, I'll keep my old LCD monitor (1680x1050), but in the future I will probably replace it with a new HD monitor.
So I need entire new PC, including case, processor fan, SSD (120GB should be enough), but without monitor and peripherals.

things sure are expensive in germany! It's extremely hard to build a skylake rig with €850 without compromising quality too much and even harder to do on just one store.

Anyway this is the closest i could get with i5 + gtx960 on ddr3 architecture. Hopefully you can bring it down further by looking at other online stores in germany:
