Hi,
A while ago someone stood on my Samsung laptop and managed to push one of the keys into a position which required me, today, to unscrew the laptop and fix it. About 3 months ago, when I was still using Windows 8 I think, my touchpad stopped working. I didn't take much note of it at the time as I was using a semi-permanent set up with a fully functioning USB mouse.
I now wish to use the laptop on the go but would like to not have to take the mouse with me wherever I go. How can I get it working again?
Things I've tried:
Un-installing the driver and updating it to the newest version.
I've looked in regedit and apparently REG_DWORD is set 1 in PrecisionTouchPad.
My laptop is the Samsung Notebook 15.6" Series 3 NP3530EC-A0LX.
Thank you,

Hello,

Based on some forums for your Samsung unit, this is mostly related to your driver issue of your mouse.
Try the following;

- Uninstall your current mouse driver.
- Restart your PC to ensure all left over mouse driver/files will be deleted and won't conflict on the next re-installation.
- Once done restarting, download your touch-pad drivers via Samsung's website. Link: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads
