How to customize Windows 10 folder view

I would like to know :

Is there a way to customize Windows 10 folder view ?

I do a lot of photo editing and I want to find a way to preview the folder's photo collection in a bigger size than the ''extra large icons'' that I find too small.

Is there a way to do it with Windows 10, or is there a 3rd party software I can use ?

Have you tried the Preview Pane? Then resize it to use more of the explorer window.

Unfortunately, the largest size available for thumbnails is 256 pixels, which is the "Extra Large" setting. You can try using the Photos app, but it's not much larger in maximum thumbnail size. You can try Windows Live Photo Gallery here:

I tried them and didn't find any ways to customize the way folders are presented.

Within Windows File Manager, 'extra large' is as large as it gets.
Possibly use something else.
XnView, or FastStone ImageViewer. Both free.
