I need help determining whether or not I should RMA my monitor because of a stuck pixel.

Last week I ordered and received an Acer G257HL BMIDX 25" monitor.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009720

Upon hooking it up and booting my system, I immediately noticed a bright blue pixel in the upper left side of the screen. I briefly read up on the subject, and managed to determine that the pixel was "stuck" rather than dead.

I used this online utility: http://www.jscreenfix.com/ in an attempt to fix the pixel, and it seems to have worked perfectly. BUT, I've discovered that after shutting down and leaving the monitor off for the night, when I boot up the next day the stuck blue pixel is back. I've successfully repeated the process of fixing it with the Jscreenfix utility, but it takes about 10 minutes and would be pretty tedious to repeat every time I boot.

After fixing it, if I turn off the monitor and immediately turn it back on, the blue pixel shows for a brief moment before completely fading away and working properly. It still shows up after sitting overnight.

Acer only replaces monitors if there are 4 or more dead pixels, however I purchased from Newegg, so I have 21 days left to issue an RMA.
My question to you folks is:
Are stuck pixels degenerative? Do they get worse over time, or do they tend to fix themselves?

I'm optimistic because of the success with Jscreenfix, but I'd love some advice.
Thanks in advance.
