I killed my MOBO. Did it take anything with it?

Today I installed a new cooler and tidied up my cable management. When I plugged my PC back in and turned on the power, I got to the American Megatrends screen. It said no keyboard detected, so I shut it down and took off the side panel. The USB cable for the front panel had come unplugged. I tried to plug it back in, but it was being very difficult. I took a close look at the socket and some pins appeared to be bent. I tried to straighten them and plug the cable back in. I had to use some force, but the cable went into the socket. When I tried to turn on my PC, it very briefly came on and shut down. I tried again and got the same result. On the third try, nothing happened. Nothing has happened on any subsequent try. The light by the MOBO power switch still comes on, if that tells you anything.

The MOBO must be dead or damaged. My question is, did it take anything with it?

Try removing all cables but 24 and 8 pin power cables. Start the board and see if the case fans do spin.

See if a fan connected to it does spin.

My fans are PWM, so how do I connect them to my power supply?
