windows 10 xbox app party chat not working

as above, i can create a party and see it light up when i talk, but no-one can join and i cannot join any friends, who play xbox one. it tries to connect for ages, then gives me an error code (i forget which)
does anyone have a clear and correct solution to this?

yeah i read that reddit ages ago, still nothing

i contacted ms support and the guy on chat tried to tell me cross platform party chat is not implemented... yet millions are using it

ive fixed my issue and have no problems anymore

Open ports 53, 80, 88, 500, 3074, 3544, and 4500 (TCP/UDP). I was told to do this by Microsoft and it worked. I can make and join parties no problem on the Windows 10 app. Hope this Helps!

Just made an account to THANK YOU. after spending 1 hour of my life searching for this problem and reading all the stupid Microsoft forums your 2 line comment fixed my problem. Thank You again and screw Microsoft and it's policies

Doesn't work for me
I tried everything now, privacy settings fine, mic is fully working, teredo service is up and running as far as i know, mic settings on default (this mic HAS worked on the xbox app before btw), mic selected as default and yet the xbox app still cant find it. This is bullshit.
