I have two GPU installed on my mother board. the first one is GTX 960, the second one is GTX 650 ti. I also have two monitors. The first monitor is Asus 144hz 24', which connects to the GTX 960. The second monitor is HP 60hz 25' connect to the GTX 650ti.
When i play video games i have the game client on the first monitor and youtube or twitch playing a video on the second monitor. I notice my fps in the game drops significantly when i do this compare when i have nothing playing on the second monitor.
I was under the impression that the videos playing on the second monitor will be processed by the GTX 650 ti therefore has no burden on the GTX 960. Judging by what happened it looks i am wrong.
So is there a way for me to set the second minor strictly to the GTX 650ti? If not then i should not even installed the GTX 650ti since it does not do anything right?
Thank you
