I have a Dell Inspiron 17r and It's been decent for the past three months. Since last month I've had this problem with my screen where it sill be noramal for a bit and then it will go back to being red for a couple weeks. It is most notable in darker colors.

Any opinions on this are welcome.

Are those lines supposed to be there? Other than that, looks completely normal to me. Consider calibrating your display, use the built in calibrate tool in Windows. I recommend using a digital camera to get an accurate color reading or use a white piece of paper as your white and eye ball it. Not a single display comes accurate, there's always a tint of purple, yellow, red, green, blue unless it's an expensive display made for professional use, or an Apple display.
