Hi all,

I've been in the market for a touch screen monitor preferebly under £250. I've been looking but just wanted a second opinion on which brand/monitor to get.

If one of you could provide me to a link that would be great <3

Thank you!

Please tell me the resolution you would like. But first, I would recommend you steer clear of touch screen displays. You just get the screen dirty, and really the functionality isnt worth it in my opinion. Better off with 2 monitors at a beautiful resolution, and with no touch screen. Because the touch screen aspect will cause it to cost more. Touch screens really just become a pain in the booty trust me.

Recommendations for 1080p:
http://www.amazon.com/VS278Q-P-1920x1080-DisplayPort-Back-lit-Monitor/dp/B009HNEBLK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1444767893&sr=8-3&keywords=ips+24+inch+1080p+60hz

that or this

Also if you really want an ips panel check out this one:

depends on if you wanting to utilize the 144hz. if not go with something at 60hz.

For 1440p check out this one:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009C3M7H0/?tag=pcpapi-20

Though cheaper ones do exist, certainly check around. But the build quality of that one is phenomenal.

this monitor was suggested by Karadjgne, in a previous post that can be located here: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2064624/1440p-monitor-gaming.html

Hi,
I would like a nice, beautiful 1080p resolution, 23 inch or something around the lines of that size. The main reason I am going to use this is for live streaming where I can use my fingers to control the different volume of sound / microphones of my special guests on the programme / podcast

Many thanks.

Now I know you probably don't want to hear this... but for the price of a 23 inch - 24inch touch screen 1080p monitor. You could get a brilliant 1440p monitor for only 100 bucks more. And in some cases, not even 100 dollars more. But the bang for your extra 50 bucks will blow your mind.

Average prices for a 1080p touch screen monitor are between 200-300 bucks. The build quality of these are also a bit questionable, plus the oils that your hands just naturally have on them.... it just bugs me when people touch screens. Drives me a little insane. :pt1cable:

but if you MUST have a touch screen, and you WONT listen to any reason.
:p

Then shop through this link

For exactly what you need, and don't grab anything that is made from some weird sounding Asian country. Generally go with Dell, or someone similar. And prices for these are atrocious. You should really push to 1440p, and forget allllll about this touch screen nonsense. In my honest opinion.
I've heard the extra pixels make a huge difference, and really shock you with how much more operating space you have.

You'll have more space between windows, and you could easily change the volume and stuff. With the mouse, and enjoy your beautiful new display. That wont have any gross human hand oils on it. Right? right? :D
