What kind of RAM should I upgrade to?

Hey guys,
Recently I hav been looking into buying some new RAM, currently I have 8GB of cheap stock RAM, I was looking at the Corsair Vengeance series but I don't know which model to get. I would like to get 16GB because lately I have been doing some video/image rendering. But mainly I use it for gaming. Currently my GPU is A GTX 980Ti My CPU is an Intel i5-4690 and my motherboard is an Asus H81M-E

The speed, quality, and performance of RAM chips is all but standardized.

The difference between DDR3 1600 and DDR3 1066 is negligible in the real world.

Get the cheapest RAM you can find that matches your existing sticks, there is absolutely no need to replace them entirely.

What makes you think you need to upgrade your RAM at all? The difference between 8GB and 16GB isn't perceivable either in the vast majority of scenarios. Extra RAM is superfluous and provides no increase in performance.

I'd look at 2x8GB od 1600/9 prob the GSkill Snipers or Ripjaws X, doing video work will make things much better with 16GB
