Files are progressively being deleted out of nowhere

So far, the first 6 or 7 of my folders in my Music folder were simply deleted off the H:/ drive, which is a 1TB Seagate Barricuda drive. I have no idea how it happened, but I lost all the files in there and seemingly they got overwritten by other files. The folders will persist, but they will delete a large group of MP3 files and delete subfolders. This happened just now with a picture I placed on my hard drive no more than 3 minutes ago. How can this be, and how can I prevent this from happening? I'm looking in Recuva and it's not telling me how they got deleted, just that they were overwritten.

I not only did a long check with Seagate's disk management program, but a windows check as well. Both say the drive is fine. Windows Defender scanned and gave me nothing of use, as did Malwarebytes. I'm at a loss right now, but seemingly nothing else was deleted since last night...
