Can you help me pick a good monitor for gaming?

So I'm looking to get a new monitor, I currently have a 60hz, 27 inch Led Samsung monitor. It's pretty good but I want to get a dual monitor set up. My new monitor would become the main monitor and I'd just have my current monitor for general purpose. Anyway I want a 120 or 144hz monitor and I wanted to see if you guys had any good recommendations. I was thinking about buying the BenQ XL Series XL2411Z 24-Inch LED Monitor. I have heard very good things about it and the price doesn't seem too exaggerated. However I know there's a big chance that there exists a monitor within the same price range that might offer other benefits this monitor doesn't offer. And what a better place to find than in a tech forum? I mainly play CSGO so that's why I'm interested in a higher FPS but I guess higher FPS is always better so that's why I want a 120 or 144hz monitor.
